Specimen Care
Displays should be kept in a dry
place out of direct sunlight to ensure they do not fade over time or absorb moisture.
Specimens should not be kept in dark places like cupboards, boxes, drawers, etc. This may result in bugs getting into and destroying your displays
In the case of bugs getting into your display, you should place your display into a freezer bag and into the freezer to kill anything that may be in there, after a few more days place your display back into the freezer to kill any eggs/larvae that may have hatched.
Insect surface spray can be used on the back of your display every 6-12 months to keep critters away
Dont forget to check on your displays once in awhile to make sure you get to any possible problems before its too late
