These skulls are accurate REPLICAS, from Skeletons from a Zoological collection, they have been 3d scanned and turned into printable files.
These skull's are printed to approximate size of the real specimens they range from 1.5cm+ up to around 4cm, custom orders can be made for custom sizing. Printed via a high quality resin printer, so they do not have layer lines and are relatively smooth, however they are scans of real bats so they will have texture and imperfections
They are currently printed in a cream/vanilla colour as i believe it replicates real bone, however I will eventually be printing them in white
Species from smallest to largest
- Plecotus Auritus - Least Concern
- Myotis bechsteinii - Near Threatened
- Myotis dasycneme - Near Threatened to Vulnerable
- Nyctalus lasiopterus - Vulnerable
- Cynopterus Brachyotis - Least Concern in rapid decline one of the more common taxidermy specimens
These 3D replicas are the perfect piece to keep your art and collection flowing without contributing negatively to the bat population, as I'm sure most people are aware that Bat Taxidermy is causing a global problem for bats brining them down to protected and endangered status as they are constantly poached just for peoples collections.
For each replica bat sale I will be donating 50% of the proceeds to local bat sanctuaries within Australia to help the incredible people who save our native bats and continue to make people aware of the dangers of collecting bat oddities.
- I am currently able to print out 24 different species of bat skulls and two different species of full bat skeletons, i am slowly working on processing and uploading them to allow a bulk variety however, feel free to reach out if you'd like some others that aren't listed
